This 3 week course for 5th-8th grade students will teach participants the basics of drawing and sketching. Students will begin each class with warm-up exercises that prepare the body and brain for drawing. Students will then spend time drawing outdoors from nature or indoors from still lives as the weather permits. They will receive drawing instruction and critique from the instructor, and the last part of class will be a whole group critique of each students work.
