Calling all designers and DIYers!! Basecamp Hybrid School needs an outdoor mud kitchen for their Little Explorers this fall. This two day camp is for ages 9+ and will take the learner through a building project as if they were the designer/builder. They will interview their client to see what their needs/wants are, work with a real budget and supplies on hand, decide where is the best placement for the mud kitchen, design it and build it! This is what is done in real work places! Project based learning in action. Problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity!!! We will celebrate the build on the second day with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a party! Tickets can be purchased here TICKET

*Note this is a two day camp. Tuesday June 28th from 10-2pm and Thursday June 30th from 10-2pm. We are giving a day in between for any special materials we need to purchase for the learner’s designs. Please bring a sack lunch and water bottle. Tickets for this camp are not refundable if unable to participate as teachers and planning are already scheduled and prepared in advance. Release and emergency contact forms will be signed before camp starts so arrive a few minutes before.
